Scan Project

Here is another project where we were supposed to make a collage using scanned items, photographs, and hand drawn elements as well. I was very indecisive when it came to narrowing down my ideas and sticking to a subject. I chose the pictures of my parents when they were both around the same age and included their native flags. The venn diagram of the wedding rings was supposed to help emphasize the unity of their families. It's wild to see how much I really do look like an exact combination of both of them.....

Halloween Weeeekkk

who is excited for halloween?! it's completely become a commercial holiday but that doesn't matter because it is entirely and completely funnn. In addition to halloween preparations I have also been doing school work....Here is the latest project I completed: fun t-shirts! The assignment was to create interesting and catching tshirts using our own photos and overlaying them onto a tshirt. I wish I could actually have them printed!

Welcome!

Hello!
This is one of the pictures from my first self-portrait assignment that came out quite well. I had a lot of fun doing this shoot because it was at night, but was unsure of what the end result would be. To my surprise the slow shutter-speed created this really neat double image.

Here is another picture from the same assignment...I was struggling at first with getting the picture in focus since I had the camera on a tripod with self timer ready to go- however, after a few tries I got it right. But the hardest part about posing for a picture on a swing was trying not to move!

My roommate is such a good friend for agreeing to be my model for projects. Anyway, this is a picture of her zooming across a zip-line at a park near our home.
